Tulip update 2011
I was lucky enough the week before I went overseas to see my tulips flower… just! I only caught them as babies, the timing wasn’t quite right – it was a shame I missed the whole show but glad I got a few snaps of what I did see to share with you guys.
PlantLab } Urban farming
This ain’t no underground rave party, unless you consider plants to be raging party animals – no, it’s the future of greenhouse growing, perhaps even the future of modern farming – large scale crops of vertical proportions, built to sustain the needs of growing population. The real together garden

Hungry? Eat the house…

Partly because I’m partly one; partly because they invented the best mayonnaise and cheese in the world; partly because I loved living in Holland for a year; and partly because of the way they embrace small spaces. Is this genius or what? Run out of land. No problem! Grow stuff on [...]
Bloomin’ bulbs
In one of the most densely populated countries on earth you’d think it a difficult task to get close to nature. But not for the Dutch. The European springtime sees a few hundred thousand people descend on the small town of Lisse in the Netherlands to be awe inspired by the incredible flower displays, mostly [...]
