“The sea is the richest thing, you have to respect the sea”

So I’m probably a little late on the train for this one but have just been so moved watching the previews below, with my heart strings singing from the sounds of Chilean folk artist Manuel Garcia and incredible scenes from Chile, that I reckon you guys will want to see the full El Mar, Mi Alma  film as much as I want to.

El Mar, Mi Alma is Part surf film, part documentary by Lennox Head filmmaker Stephen Jones and Chilean Tatiana Velasco - described as ‘A 16mm cultural surf film experience through Chile’.

Featuring some of the world’s most stellar surfers, the likes of Dave Rastovich, Chilean Ramon Navarro, Joel Parkinson, Diego Medina, Dane Ward, Chris Del Moro, Crystal Thornburg and Cristian Merello on ‘a quest to seek harmony with nature’.

It’s on the last leg of it’s screening roadshow around Australia, so catch it coming up on any of the dates left….
