The sunshine returned to Sydney this weekend in a big way. After weeks of gloomy skies, spring time turned it’s sparkly light on – glistening on the sea and through the leaves – leaving us all feeling the glow knowing Summer is upon us… hooray!

With dear friends from our recent yoga teacher training here to visit, we spent the weekend enjoying the sun’s kisses on Sydney Harbour, Bondi, the coast walk from Bronte to Coogee and finishing up yesterday afternoon in the rays by Clovelly ocean baths as pictured here… it’s amazing how seeing through travellers eyes can make everything so bright and new. Just the reminder I needed to notice how truly incredible this place is that we’re lucky enough to live.

I’m having so much fun with my 50mm lens lately, so perfect for seaside sparkles and friend’s faces. I just love the hexagonal bokeh and the clarity it captures – so nice isn’t it?
