iPhoneography inspired by nature

I wouldn’t say I’m a heavy Instagramer, but I don’t mind the odd upload and love browsing through the little square shots of the instagram folk I follow. Across almost a year one can really build up a collection… so thought I’d share some faves from my daily travels oot and aboot…

What I love most about phone photography is that it really is such spur of the moment stuff. More so than when carrying a big SLR around with you because you’re not really expecting such moments.

On one hand, I think taking photos of everything in sight can remove you from actually being in the moment (I’ve blogged about this for Telstra Exchange here), but on the other hand – I completely love some of the instances I’ve been able to snap up because I’ve had my phone on me.

It’s funny how you develop a style. Vibrant colours always do it for me, which means I never really go past three or so filters because I just love the brightness and contrast they can bring out from an otherwise ordinary shot.

Anyhoo, hope you enjoy – and if you’re on instagram – look me up (cohabitaire… duh!) and shout out your username in the comments below so we can all find you too.
