I’m quite surprised at myself for not writing about maps before…. I frigging love maps. I love a good key. I love a detailed relief. I’m the map girl on holidays and have been caught in a trance on Google Earth more than twice.

And it seems Louis Reith knows what I’m talkin’ about. He likes to fold his maps up into mountains, which I guess is how he came up with the name Map Mountains for the work above. And it’s not just folding that he’s into. Reith mixes his maps with bold, black shapes, combined with the fineness of a feather or spokes of a wheel.

I reckon he’s onto something here. You?

I’m inspired to find more map themed to share with you, but for now, take a browse around here, and if you want more visit LouisReith.com
