You can’t go past a good piece of time-lapse cinematography can you? Especially not when it’s set in a mystical land of everlasting summer sun… Iceland.
Joe Capra of SCIENTIFANTASTIC spent 17 days, in the June just gone, full-on-filming scenes of such incredible texture and pastel hues that are best described as astonishingly breathtaking.
It just didn’t occur to me until watching this that icebergs move around so much, you’ll have to watch it to know what I mean. Sped up they look like floating boats, yet somehow still majestic in their form….
The atmospheric soundtrack that perfectly accompanies these dramatic landscapes is the handy work of This Will Destroy You.

Full credit for this find goes to my dear friend Caitin Fay Smith, one of the most talented photographers you’ll ever come across and who I’m trying to coax onto these pages sometime in the near future. C’mon Caitlin!
