Hi there everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was a lovely long one (hence the Tuesday post). For some, it might have felt even longer with flights along Australia’s south eastern coast halted thanks to the plumes of ash making their way around the globe from Puyehue volcano in Chile.

Just as Iceland’s Eyjafjallajökull had Europe’s planes on hold last year, I’m not sure Australians ever suspected an eruption taking place in South America would do the same here.

Like most good volcanoes, Puyehue has been creating spectacular scenes, thought I’d share a few shots doing the rounds….
