Photo set } Bondi to Bronte

by Ingrid. Thursday, May 12th, 2011

Sitting here this week you wouldn’t believe it was above 20ºC on the weekend – it’s sooo c-c-cold!!! I guess sometimes we don’t realise how good we have it in Sydney, really, when the sun comes out the coastline turns on a magnificent show, just like it did last Sunday.

The Bondi to Bronte walk is a pretty historic / iconic path well worn by the sea faring folk of the Eastern Suburbs. The rock formations along the way are pretty spectacular, with coastal crops of morning glories and sub-tropical blooms filling the gaps and spilling over the path. On days when the swell picks up, watching boarders go for gold is top class entertainment in itself. With coffee stops at either end and on the way (like Tamarama where had a perfect flat white) – the journey is one of my favourite things to take on a sun shiney day.

To my southern hemisphere friends – channel the sunshine from these scenes, and to you northerners – hope you’re enjoying your new found warmth :)
